João Vitor Araújo da Silva (born 20 June 2005), known as João Araújo or just Araújo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Grêmio.
Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Araújo joined Grêmio's youth setup in 2023, after representing Ceará, Aimoré and São José-RS.[1] On 17 October of that year, he signed his first professional contract with the former club.[2]
Araújo made his first team – and Série A – debut on 21 October 2023, coming on as a second-half substitute for fellow youth graduate Josué in a 3–0 away loss to São Paulo.[3]
