Jessica Barry (born 14 June 1994)^[1] is a professional super featherweight boxer known as "the Celtic Banshee" or "Banshee Barry".^{[2] [3]}

Career

Barry was born in Warwick, Warwickshire in 1994. She had a successful amateur boxing career with Christ the King ABC in Coventry, winning 18 of 19 fights, before turning professional in 2022.^[4] Whilst studying computer science at Coventry University she won the Universities Elite Cup.^[5]

Barry currently boxes out of Fitzpatrick's gym in Leamington Spa and is trained by Derek Fitzpatrick.

She has Irish heritage and has represented Ireland at boxing events.
