Jenner Headlands Preserve is a nature preserve owned and managed by The Wildlands Conservancy, a nonprofit land conservancy. Covering 5630acres in Sonoma County, California, the preserve offers views of the Russian River and the coastline. The preserve has hiking trails, a picnic area, and restrooms.
The preserve includes 1500acres of coastal prairie.
A set of public and private entities preserved the property.[2] [3]
In 2014, Sonoma Land Trust acquired Pole Mountain, the tallest peak on the Sonoma Coast. Eventually, a trail was opened from Jenner Headlands Preserve to the peak.[4]
In 2018, the preserve was opened to the public for light recreation.[5]
