Jeisson Andrés Vargas Salazar (born 15 September 1997) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder.
Vargas made his debut for Universidad Católica playing the last 15 minutes against Universidad de Concepción in 2014.
In January 2018, Vargas signed with MLS side Montreal Impact.[2]
In 2023, he joined Qatari club Al-Rayyan on loan from Universidad de Chile on a deal for six months.[3]
In January 2024, Vargas joined Huachipato.[4] In August of the same year, he ended his contract with Huachipato and moved to Europe to join Bosnian club FK Željezničar.[5] Due to documentation issues, he could not sign with them.[6]
Along with Chile U20, Vargas won the L'Alcúdia Tournament in 2015.[7]
Vargas was named in Chile's provisional squad for Copa América Centenario but was cut from the final squad.[8]
