Jefferson Township covers an area of 57.47sqmi and contains one incorporated settlement, Guttenberg. According to the USGS, it contains nine cemeteries: Borcherding, Guttenberg, Lewis, Mount Olivet, Saint Johns, Saint Marys, Saint Michael, Saint Pauls and Stock School.
