Jeete Hain Shaan Se (translation: We Live With Honor) is a 1987 Bollywood action film directed by Kanwal Sharma and starring Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Govinda.[1] [2]
Johnny (Mithun Chakraborty), Govinda (Sanjay Dutt), and Iqbal (Govinda) are close friends living in a small community in Bombay. They team up to help each other and other people in the community. This brings them on the wrong side of the gangster who goes by the pseudonym DK. Tragedy strikes when Govinda's mother dies. During the funeral, Govinda is reunited with his father, the lawyer Verma, who had been missing for several years. Soon after, a police inspector introduces Johnny to his biological mother, Mary.
The three friends rejoice over this good fortune. Then Johnny finds out that Verma was behind the atrocities inflicted upon his mother years before. Johnny goes to confront Verma, only to come up against an enraged Govinda, who cannot believe his father was capable of committing any atrocities against anyone. It is now up to Iqbal to resolve the enmity between Govinda and Johnny before DK takes advantage of the situation.
All songs were written by Indeevar, except "Salaam Seth Salaam Seth" which was penned by Shaily Shailendra.
