Jayden Clarke (born 8 May 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Gillingham.
Clarke played for Tottenham Hotspur's academy.[1] After playing in non-league for Bedfont Sports, Hendon and Dulwich Hamlet,[2] [3] Clarke signed for Gillingham in January 2023.[1] [4] [5] By March he had played one game for the club in the Kent Senior Cup, and was linked with a loan move away, but the club decided to retain him.[6] [7] He made his Football League debut on 22 April 2023, in a 2-2 draw against Bradford.[8] [9] On 8 May 2023, he made his first start in a 2-0 victory against Salford.[10] His first goals came on 14 September 2024, where he got a brace in a 3-0 win against Tranmere Rovers.[11]
