Séamus Mac Cathmhaoil Explained

Séamus Mac Cathmhaoil aka James MacCawell[1] was the first Anglican Archbishop of Cashel.[2]

He was nominated on 12 February 1567[3] and appointed by letters patent on 2 October that year.[4] He died in office in 1570.[5]
