Jaghin District (fa|بخش جغین) is in Rudan County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Balashahr.[2]

History

In 2017, the village of Balashahr was elevated to the status of a city.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 11,254 in 2,329 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 15,318 people in 3,794 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 14,468 inhabitants in 4,010 households.[6]
