Jagal is a village in District Gujrat, in Punjab, Pakistan, situated about 6km (04miles) east of Kotla Arab Ali Khan. The village is 38km (24miles) from Gujrat city and about 30km (20miles) from Kharian city. The union council of Jagal is Dilawarpur which is 2km (01miles) to the east. The border of Azad Kashmir lies approximately north of the village. The word Jagal comes from subcast of Gujjar. They are the people who started to live here more or less in 15th century
