The song was an influence on Undertale and Deltarune. In the latter, though never stated in-game, it is the favorite song of Noelle Holiday.
The song's music video was parodied in an English translation of the song in 2012. The video featured a young Toby Fox, though not at the center of it. It is believed to be now lost.
