Jacob Patrick Randolph (born April 9, 2001) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for USL Championship club, Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
Randolph played for Barton College from 2019-2021, making his debut against Shaw University.[1] [2] He put in many good performances, including a shutout against Emmanuel where he made a career-high 6 saves.[3] In 2021, he was named as conference Defensive Player of the Week.[4]
Randolph then joined the UNC Wilmington Seahawks in 2022.[5] In 2023, he made 6 saves against Elon, but couldn't prevent a 1-0 loss.[6] He made 4 saves in the draw with the University of Delaware.[7]
On January 22, 2024, USL Championship club Pittsburgh Riverhounds announced the signings of Randolph and Eric Dick on 1-year deals with the option for 2025.[8] [9] Randolph made his debut in the 2-0 loss to Hartford Athletic.[10] He got another start in the 1-0 loss to Louisville City, making 5 saves.[11]
