Jackson Township (T35N R6E) is one of sixteen townships in Elkhart County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 4,288.[4]
Jackson Township was named for Col. John Jackson, a pioneer settler.[5]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.83%) is land and (or 0.17%) is water.[4] Frog Pond is in this township.
The township contains several cemeteries, including the historic Bainter Town cemetery, which opened in 1832.
