Iwanówka, is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Giby, within Sejny County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the borders with Belarus and Lithuania.[4] It lies approximately 6km (04miles) north of Giby, 50NaN0 south-west of Sejny, and 1080NaN0 north of the regional capital Białystok.
From 1975-1998 the village was administratively governed by the Suwałki Voivodeship.
In 1882 it was recorded that the village had a population of 42 people with 11 homes.[5]
In 1921, the village had 5 houses and 38 inhabitants, including 28 Catholics and 10 Old Believers.[6]
