Isabel McRae Cox (born December 13, 2000) is an American soccer player who plays as a striker for Brooklyn FC.

Early life and education

Cox attended Grimsley High School in the United States.[1]

Cox attended the University of North Carolina, where she majored in communications, and played for the North Carolina Tar Heels.[2] She concluded her five-year college soccer career with 110 appearances, the most in program history and third-most in NCAA Division I history.[3]

Senior club career

Wellington Phoenix

Cox joined for New Zealand side Wellington Phoenix in the A-League on a six month contract, becoming the team's 4th and last Visa signing of the season.[4]

Brooklyn FC

In July 2024, Cox joined USL Super League club Brooklyn FC, joining former Phoenix teammate Hope Breslin.[5]

Style of play

Cox has been described as a "more attack-minded player that can play anywhere in the front three".[6]

Personal life

Cox is a native of Greensboro, United States.[7]
