Isaac Jaxon Wright (born February 23, 2005) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 400 m. Wright runs track for the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.[2] He previously ran for Charlotte Panthers Track Club and Hickory Ridge High School.
Isaac opened up his collegiate NCAA D1 indoor track career at the Gamecock Opener 2024[3] where he ran the 300 m. Wright also competed in 3 other regular season meets including Carolina Challenge 2024,[4] Doc Hale VT Meet[5] and Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational.[6]
To cap off his indoor season Wright competed in the 2024 Big South Indoor Track & Field Championship[7] where he placed 10th in the 400 m with an Indoor SB of 50.50.[8]
Wright opened up his outdoor season at UNCC where he would run the 400, 200, and 4 × 400. Wright would also run at Montreat, Tennessee, UNCA and the Big South outdoor Track & Field Championship held at HPU where he would place 8th in the 400 m[9] capping off his freshman season.
