Iryna Valeriivna Allakhverdiyeva (born 26 August 1978) is a Ukrainian economist and politician. People's deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation.
Iryna Allakhverdiyeva was born on August 26, 1978, in Mykolaiv. She graduated from the Mykolaiv State Agrarian Academy, majoring in Accounting and Auditing.[1] Allakhverdiyeva is an economist in accounting and finance.
Iryna Allakhverdiyeva was the director of the Mykolaiv regional directorate of the Private joint-stock insurance company “Unica”, the deputy director for development at the Mykolaiv branch of Closed joint-stock insurance company “INGO Ukraine”, the deputy director of the Mykolaiv city Closed joint-stock insurance agency “Inkomstrakh”.
Allakhverdiyeva was a candidate for People's Deputies from the "Servant of the People" party in the 2019 parliamentary elections, No. 116 on the list. At the time of the elections, she was the Mykolaiv regional directorate of the Private joint-stock insurance company “Unica”, and lived in Mykolaiv. She is a Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy member and chairman of the Subcommittee on Tariff and Non-Tariff Regulation.[2]
On November 3, 2022, journalists forced the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Andriy Kostin, to open criminal proceedings against Allakhverdiyeva for receiving illegal benefits: gifts worth 14.4 million hryvnias and 5.3 million hryvnias, as well as a DEFY MIDNIGHT watch for 310,000 hryvnias, inlaid with 11 white diamonds.[3]
