Ingoldisthorpe is a village and civil parish in the north-west of the English county of Norfolk. It is located approximately north-east of the town King's Lynn and from the county town of Norwich.[1]

The villages name means 'Ingjaldr's outlying farmstead'.

The civil parish has an area of 5.63km2 and in the 2001 census had a population of 780 in 336 households, including Shernborne the population increasing to 849 at the 2011 Census.[2] For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk.[3]
