Indio is a census-designated place (CDP) in Starr County, Texas, United States. It is a new CDP, formed from part of the Falcon Heights CDP prior to the 2010 census, with a population of 50.[1]

Indio was first listed as a census designated place in the 2010 U.S. Census, one of four new CDPs (Falconaire, H. Cuellar Estates, Indio, Lago Vista) carved out from the Falcon Heights CDP.

Education

The CDP is within the Roma Independent School District.[5] The zoned elementary school for the 2010 Census community is Emma Vera Elementary School.[6] Roma High School is the district's sole comprehensive high school.
