In Camera is an 2023 British drama film, written and directed by Naqqash Khalid, in his directorial debut. It stars Nabhaan Rizwan, Amir El-Masry and Rory Fleck Byrne.

It had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on 1 July 2023.

Premise

A young actor finds himself in a cycle of nightmarish auctions. After multiple rejections, he takes it upon himself to find a part to play.

In September 2022, it was announced Nabhaan Rizwan, Amir El-Masry and Rory Fleck Byrne had joined the cast of the film, with Naqqash Khalid directing from a screenplay he wrote.[1]

Release

The film had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival on 1 July 2023.[2] [3] It also screened at Zurich Film Festival on 2 October 2023,[4] and the BFI London Film Festival on 13 October 2023.[5] [6]
