History

Founded in 2018 by Robbie Ferguson, James Ferguson and Alex Connolly, the company developed crypto platform "Immutable X" based on blockchain Ethereum.[1] Immutable partnered with Israeli company StarkWare for their "layer 2", "zero knowledge roll up" network in 2020.[2]

Gods Unchained

Gods Unchained is a collectible trading card game with a non-fungible token (NFT) for each card for Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows and MacOS. It was directed by Chris Clay, former game director of .[3]

At the time of layoffs in July 2022, the number of unique players logging into the game was 10 000, down from 22 000 in April, according to a third-party tracking site Cards Unchained.[4]

In December 2023, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rated the game and Striker Manager 3 "Adults Only 18+" (AO), assessing "whether products may reward real money, prizes with real world value, or something that can be exchanged for or converted to real money (i.e., gift cards, cryptocurrency, etc.), as well as whether there is cash spent to be eligible for such rewards." (Blockchain games such as poker game Polker have not received an Adults Only rating) The game was removed from the Epic Games Store after the rating, but reinstated following Epic Games updating its content policy to allow such crypto games.[5]
