Imenarete Explained

According to the Roman author Hyginus, Imenarete was the mother of Elephenor, one of the Achaean leaders, by Chalcodon.^[1] In some accounts, the spouse of Chalcodon was called Melanippe^[2] or Alcyone.^[3]
