Illosporiopsis Explained

Illosporiopsis is a genus of fungi with one species, Illosporiopsis christiansenii, a fungus which parasitizes lichen. Illosporiopsis was described after DNA evidence showed that species previously ascribed to Hobsonia were unrelated.[1] [2]
