Ilias Kostis (el|Ηλίας Κωστής; born 27 February 2003) is a Greek footballer who plays as a defender for Atlético Madrid B. Born in Greece, he was a Cyprus youth international until joining the Greece national under-21 football team on 4 October 2023.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
In 2019, Kostis joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Atlético Madrid.[6] [7] [8]
His father is Georgios Kostis, a former midfielder who played mainly for Iraklis Salonica in the Greek Super League. His uncle is Vaggelis Kostis, also a former footballer.
