This station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks, connected to the station building by an overhead passageway.

Ienaka Station opened on 1 April 1929.^[1] It became unstaffed from 1 September 1973.^[1]

From 17 March 2012, station numbering was introduced on all Tobu lines, with Ienaka Station becoming "TN-14".^[2]

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 425 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).^[3]
