Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu (16 February 1947[1] – 17 August 2021) was a Nigerian politician who served as the deputy president of the Nigerian Senate from 2001 to 2007.
Mantu was born in Pyemland in the Northern Region of British Nigeria (now in Mangu, Plateau State, Nigeria).[2]
He served as Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate from 2001 to 2007 and was a member of the Senate of Nigeria from 1999 till 2007.[3]
Mantu died from COVID-19 in August 2021.[4]
