    I Can See Your Voice [1] is a Chinese television mystery music game show based on the South Korean programme of the same title. It premiered on JSTV on 27 March 2016.[2]

    Gameplay

    Format

    Presented with a group of "mystery singers", a guest artist must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of three rounds. At the end of a game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.

    In a joint agreement with CJ ENM, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation formally acquired the rights to produce the first locally-licensed adaptation of I Can See Your Voice in June 2015,[3] including with production duties assigned by Eslite Media, Hua Chuan Culture, and Inly Media Company.[4] [5]

    Two months after the formal announcement, CJ ENM accused two (locally unlicensed) programmes, God of Songs by SZTV and X-Singer by Beijing TV, of plagiarism. They have also implement on modified game mechanics, strikingly similar to the original format of I Can See Your Voice without having permission from the said company.[6] [7]
