I'm Nevenka (Spanish; Castilian: '''Soy Nevenka'''|links=no) is an upcoming drama film directed by Icíar Bollaín from a screenplay by Bollaín and Isa Campo starring Mireia Oriol and Urko Olazabal.

Plot

The plot dramatizes the case of, a young municipal finance councillor in Ponferrada who faced widespread scrutiny and societal backlash in Spain after filing a complaint against Mayor for sexual harassment, winning her case notwithstanding.

Production

The screenplay was penned by Icíar Bollaín alongside Isa Campo.[1] The film is a Movistar Plus+ original produced by Kowalski Films, Feelgood Media, and Nva Peli AIE; in association with Garbo Produzioni.[2] Shooting locations included Bilbao and Zamora.[3] [4]

Release

I'm Nevenka will screen in the official competition of the 72nd San Sebastián International Film Festival in September 2024.[5] It is scheduled to be released theatrically in Spain on 27 September 2024 by Buena Vista International. The 20th Zurich Film Festival will host the film's international premiere in October 2024.[6] Epicentre Film acquired French rights to the film.[7]
