History

The restaurant was founded in 2013 in Shenzhen, Guangdong within the cafeteria of Hezhong Cultural Group, where artists frequently rehearsed while employees dined, creating a musical dining atmosphere. Two years later, Hutaoli opened its first franchise location in Xiamen, Fujian.^{[4] [5]}

In 2017, Hutaoli opened its Sydney location in Australia, followed by locations in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.^{[6] [7]}
