House of David is an upcoming American historical drama series developed by Jon Erwin for Amazon Prime Video. The series will tell the story of David, a king of ancient Israel and Judah and the third king of the United Monarchy.
The series is being produced by The Wonder Project, a studio led by Erwin and Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, in cooperation with Amazon MGM Studios.
After a four-month search, Michael Iskander was cast as David; Ali Suliman as King Saul; Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam; Stephen Lang as Samuel; and Martyn Ford as Goliath.[1] Filming began in Greece in 2024. It is scheduled to be released on Prime Video in early 2025.[2]
