Honesto is a Philippine television drama series broadcast by ABS-CBN. Directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, Darnel Joy R. Villaflor and Claudio "Tots" Sanchez-Mariscal IV, it stars Raikko Mateo and Paulo Avelino. It aired on the network's Primetime Bida line up and worldwide on TFC from October 28, 2013 to March 14, 2014, replacing Juan dela Cruz and was replaced by Dyesebel. It is based on the 1940 Walt Disney Productions film Pinocchio.[1] [2] [3]

This show has been developed by Mga Anghel na Walang Langit, Princess Sarah, May Bukas Pa, Momay, Noah, Mutya, 100 Days to Heaven, Budoy, Ikaw ay Pag-Ibig, Dahil sa Pag-ibig, Lorenzo's Time, Juan dela Cruz, and My Little Juan, due to genre of inspirational, and values and child-oriented drama series where Dreamscape Entertainment released these type of series since 2005. It was succeeded by Nathaniel.

Reception

Based on the data from Kantar Media, the pilot episode of Honesto garnered 30.5% national TV ratings compared to its rival program Genesis of GMA Network which only scored 10.5%.[4]
