Hlegu[1] (Burmese: လှည်းကူး, in Burmese pronounced as /l̥ɛ́ɡú/) is a small city in Yangon Division, Burma (Myanmar) about 45 km north-east of Yangon.[2] It is located on both sides of the Ngamoyeik River (Ngamoyeik Chaung).[3] Hlegu is the administrative seat of Hlegu Township.
