Hesperotettix viridis explained

Hesperotettix viridis, known generally as the snakeweed grasshopper or meadow purple-striped grasshopper, is a species of spur-throated grasshopper in the family Acrididae.^{[1] [2] [3]} It is found in North America.^[4]
