Henry Parrish Jr. (born March 1, 2001) is an American football running back who currently plays for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Early life

Parrish was born in Goulds, Florida and attended Christopher Columbus High School. In his high school career he rushed for 4,454 yards and 31 touchdowns on 481 carries, while also hauling in 34 receptions for 450 yards and four touchdowns.[1] Parrish would decide to commit to play college football at Ole Miss over other schools such as Florida, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, and USC.[2] [3]

College career

Ole Miss

In the Rebels 2020 regular season finale, Parrish had a breakout game rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns, and also bring in four passes for 27 yards, but Ole Miss would lose in a shootout 53-48 versus LSU.[4] Parrish finished the covid shortend 2020 season with 263 yards and two touchdowns on 56 carries, while also hauling in seven receptions for 59 yards.[5] In week six of the 2021 season, Parrish ran for 118 yards on 18 carries, as he helped the Rebels beat

52-51.[6] Parrish took a step up in 2021 as he rushed for 553 yards and three touchdowns, on 105 carries, while also notching 21 receptions for 173 yards.[7] After the conclusion of the 2021 season, Parrish announced that he had decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal.[8] [9]

Miami

Parrish would decide to transfer to Miami to continue out the rest of his college career.[10] [11] In Parrish's debut with Miami, he rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns, as he helped the Hurricanes dominate Bethune-Cookman 70-13.[12] [13] Parrish finished the 2022 season with 616 yards and four touchdowns on 130 carries, while also bringing in 17 receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns.[14] For his performance on the season, Parrish was named third team All-ACC.[15] [16] In week four of the 2023 season, Parrish rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, as he helped the Hurricanes beat Temple.[17]
