Hendrik Johannes Terras (born 14 June 1993) is an Estonian politician, member of the XV Riigikogu. He is a member of the executive board of the Estonian 200 political party and a former chairman of the party's youth organisation Young Estonia 200.[1]
Terras' father is retired military general and Isamaa politician Riho Terras. His mother is a diplomat Kaili Terras.[2]
In 2017 Terras graduated from the University of Tartu with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication and in 2019 with a Master of Arts in Communication Management.[3]
On 9 April 2022 Terras was elected as the new leader of the youth organisation Noor Eesti 200.
In the autumn of 2022 he ran for the chairmanship of the Estonian 200 political party, but withdrew his candidacy in favour of Lauri Hussar. On 15 October 2022, at the General Assembly, Terras was elected as a member of the executive board of the Estonian 200 party and as its vice-chairman.[4] [5]
On 19 November 2022 Terras was elected as a member of the executive board of the Young Estonia 200 at the General Assembly.[6]
He ran for the Riigikogu in the 2023 elections, won 771 votes in constituency 1 (Haabersti, Põhja-Tallinn and Kristiine) and was elected.
