Helicteroideae Explained

Helicteroideae is a subfamily of the family Malvaceae.[1] [2] Some taxonomists have place genera in Helicteroideae in distinct families Durionaceae and Helicteraceae.[3]

Most modern treatments recognise two tribes:[4]

Durioneae

  2. Coelostegia Benth.
  3. Cullenia
  4. Durio
  5. Kostermansia
  6. Neesia

Helictereae

  1. Helicteres
  2. Mansonia
  3. Neoregnellia Urb.
  4. Reevesia
  5. Triplochiton
  6. Ungeria
