Harvinder Singh (born 25 February 1991) is an Indian paralympic archer from Haryana.[1] He won a bronze medal in the men's singles recurve archery at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. It was the first ever Paralympic medal in archery for India.[2] [3] [4] [5]
Early life
Singh was born in Kaithal, Haryana. He is supported by sports NGO, Olympic Gold Quest.[6]
Career
Singh won a gold medal in the Para Asian Games in 2018 in an individual event. In 2022 Asian Games held in 2023, he was part of the Indian team that won the bronze medal.[7]
In the Para Archery World Ranking event in June 2024, he won a bronze medal at Czech Republic. Earlier in April 2024, at the World Archery Oceania 2024 Para Grand Prix, he won another bronze medal at Australia.[8]
