Hanji-Bough is a village in Magam tehsil of district Budgam in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in the disputed Kashmir region. According to the 2011 Census, the location code or village code of Hanji-Bough village is 000453. It is situated 10 km away from the sub-district headquarter Beerwah and 25 km away from the district headquarter Budgam. As per 2009 stats, Peth Kanihama is the gram panchayat of Hanji-Bough village.

The majority of the people are dependent on agriculture and handicrafts, and few are engaged with business. There is a famous shrine of Syed Taj-u-Din Bukhari(R.A) located on the bank of the River sukhnag, which got damaged in one of the floods. They're used to a big playground, known famously as 'Dhoonkul-Bagh' in the village, however, it no longer exists as many houses have been constructed around it. The village owns its own big Eid-Gah on the bank of River, where people offer Eid Namaaz (prayers). The Village is a great example of unity and brotherhood, as people are always there to offer help to the needy ones. The majority of the people have Lone, Dar and Ganie as the surnames, with a minority having Malik, Bhat and Sheikh. The village has two Masjids, including a big Jamia Masjid, a single public primary school, and a public health dispensary.
