is a song by Japanese singer-songwriter and internet personality Kocchi no Kento, released as a single by Blowout Inc. on May 27, 2024. Written by Kocchi no Kento and GRP, it is an up-tempo melancholy pop song about the daily lives of workers whose stress has reached its peak, before doing "girigiri" dance, including morse code of SOS.[1] Its cover artwork and music video are created by Kazuya Kanehisa, reminiscing 1950s–60s Shōwa-era manga and anime.[2]
Commercially, the song went viral on social media shortly after the release in Japan, topping the Billboard Japan Heatseekers Songs,[3] and peaking at number five on the Japan Hot 100,[4] and number two on the Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan.[5] The English version, translated by Penthouse's Shintaro Naomika, was released on July 31.[6] Kocchi no Kento gave the debuted televised performance of the song at CDTV Live! Live! on August 5.[7]
