Directed by Rico Gutierrez.^[1] it was hosted by Regine Velasquez,^[2] Roderick Paulate,^[3] Raymond Gutierrez and Jennylyn Mercado,^[4] It premiered on August 5, 2012, replacing Showbiz Central.^[5] The show concluded on April 28, 2013, with a total of 39 episodes. It was replaced by GMA Blockbusters in its timeslot.

According to AGB Nielsen Philippines' Mega Manila household television ratings, the pilot episode of H.O.T. TV: earned a 12.4% rating.^[6] While the final episode scored a 6.8% rating.^[7]
