Gymnocalycium quehlianum, the Quehla chin cactus, is a species of flowering plant in the family Cactaceae, native to northern Argentina.
It is a spherical cactus growing to 5cm (02inches) tall by 7cm (03inches) wide, with ribbed stems bearing brown spines and white, daisy-like flowers in summer. In cultivation, where temperatures fall below 10C it requires the protection of glass.[1]
This plant has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.[2] [3]
