Gug Tappeh-ye Khaleseh (fa|گوگ تپه خالصه) is a village in, and the capital of, Marhemetabad Rural District of the Central District of Miandoab County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] It was the capital of Marhemetabad-e Jonubi Rural District[3] until its capital was transferred to the village of Lalaklu.[2]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,813 in 672 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,794 people in 774 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,548 people in 790 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[6]
