Granville Ryles Explained
Granville Ryles (1831 - 1909)[1] was a minister,[2] farmer, and state legislator in Arkansas. In 1883 he represented Pulaski County in the Arkansas House of Representatives.[3]
He was part of the A.M.E. Church.[4] He was an official at the 1880 Arkansas Colored Convention.[5] He was involved in a legal dispute over a farmed land area he leased in former Indian Territory.[6]
