Graduate Assessment Test Explained

Law Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) is a law graduation test for eligibility to seek enrollment as an advocate in the Bar Council for law graduates (LLB) in Pakistan. The test is administered by the Education Testing Council(ETC). The Law GAT test is administered by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Validity of the score

The test score on the GAT General or GAT Subject remains valid for 2 years.T he test score of Law GAT and SEE Law is valid after enrollment in the Bar for a lifetime.

Number of chances

As of 2023, there are seven chances to appear in the HEC Law GAT test or HEC SEE law test.
