Gorczyce (German: Gortzitzen,[1] from 1909 until 1945 Gartenberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kowale Oleckie, within Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2]

It lies approximately 5km (03miles) east of Kowale Oleckie, 130NaN0 north of Olecko, and 1370NaN0 east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

History

It has been mentioned in the Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland in the late 19th century.
