Gold or Never Too Late to Mend is a 1860 Australian stage play. It was produced at a time when local plays were relatively rare in Australia.[2] [3]
The play was revived in 1873.[4]
The Sydney Mail said "its localisms may suit an English audience, but here their absurd character is evident" and that scenes on the goldfield "shows a lamentable ignorance of the subject which the author has endeavoured to illustrate, viz., life on the gold fields."[5]
