The 800XP is a development of the Aveko VL-3 Sprint, adapted to comply with the US light-sport aircraft rules, by increasing the wing area and raising the gross weight from 472.5to. It features a cantilever low-wing, a two-seats-in-side-by-side configuration enclosed open cockpit under a forward-hinged bubble canopy, fixed tricycle landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.
The aircraft is made from composites. Its 36.51NaN1 span wing has an area of 116square feet and mounts winglets. The standard engine available is the 1000NaN0 Rotax 912ULS four-stroke powerplant.
