Gmina Trzciel is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Międzyrzecz County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. Its seat is the town of Trzciel, which lies approximately 22km (14miles) south-east of Międzyrzecz, 540NaN0 north-east of Zielona Góra, and 600NaN0 south-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The gmina covers an area of 177.35km2, and as of 2019 its total population is 6,451.

The gmina contains part of the protected area called Pszczew Landscape Park.
