Gmina Potok Wielki is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Janów Lubelski County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Potok Wielki, which lies approximately 17km (11miles) north-west of Janów Lubelski and 570NaN0 south-west of the regional capital Lublin.

The gmina covers an area of 98.33km2, and as of 2006 its total population is 4,954 (4,819 in 2013).
