Gmina Chmielno is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kartuzy County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Chmielno, which lies approximately 7km (04miles) west of Kartuzy and 350NaN0 west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The gmina covers an area of 79.18km2, and as of 2006 its total population is 6,491.

The gmina contains part of the protected area called Kashubian Landscape Park.
